Do I have to attend all meetings and events?
No! joining the DSUMA is low-commitment and completely up to your schedule. You can come join events as you see fit! If you want to volunteer or join our executive team, we require higher commitment, which comes with added benefits.

What do I get by helping out with the DSUMA?
We are always looking for volunteers and executive members to help out with our events and running the club. We offer volunteer hours that can go towards your resumes, portfolios, and part of your undergraduate requirements. By becoming an executive member and collegiate chapter member, you get hands-on experience and opportunities to work closely with faculty members and professional marketers. We can also provide references for future job positions!

Can I volunteer without being an executive member?
Absolutely! We are always looking for volunteers to help set up and take down events! Our volunteers often ensure that events run smoothly, students are enjoying themselves, and help us spread the word about the DSUMA!

Do I have to pay to be in the DSUMA?
Not necessarily, joining the club has no monetary requirement. If you would like to join our collegiate chapter team and get exclusive access to the AMA, we require each student to have an AMA student membership which comes to $29 per year when signing up with the DSUMA collegiate chapter!
